Savage In-shell Sizers

Savage Sizing Reels rapidly sort nuts by size. These sizes can be configured to your unique requirements—as few as two sizes, or as many as five. They consist of a rotating “cage” through which the nuts progress. These machines are also used to clean pecans of dirt, small rocks and other debris. Our newest model provides great access and visibility to the internal reaches of the machine.
Inside the Savage Sizing Reel, internal steel deflectors help move the product through rapidly. Highly durable, flexible “scrapers” ensure nuts do not become lodged in the machine. Savage makes reels with diameters of 36″, 48″ and 60″ to accommodate any size of nut-cleaning operation. It is often integrated with the Savage Stick Remover, saving valuable space.As with most Grayline Equipment, it can be mounted on adjustable legs to fit neatly into a complete nut-cleaning plant.
